Savings kick in after two winery visits! Explore new regions or visit old favorites, the choice is up to you!

The Point San Luis Lighthouse creates the most spectacular backdrop for live concerts in San Luis Obispo County. Going on our 5th year of sold-out concerts, this series attracts a cross section of locals and tourists who seek the very finest the area has to offer.
Live at the Lighthouse is powered by volunteers. Board members from Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers and other volunteers work to make sure that these concerts provide the much needed revenue for the restoration and upkeep of the light station, a true Central Coast treasure. Your dollars go directly into the preservation of the incredible history of this site, and it’s majestic landscape.
Join us for a docent-led tour of the buildings and grounds of the historic Point San Luis Light Station.
Enjoy a scenic ride up the Lighthouse Road in a SLO SafeRide van to the Point San Luis Lighthouse where you will be met by a docent and led on a personalized tour of the buildings and grounds of this historic site established in 1890.
The Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers welcomes you to join our docent-led interpretive tours to experience a rich history of the beautifully restored Lighthouse, the Hornhouse, and other structures. Our tours will give you a glimpse into the lives of Lighthouse Keepers and their families while helping keep our jewel of the Central Coast preserved and protected. Point San Luis is part of the Port San Luis Harbor District.
Our mission is to restore, preserve, maintain, and operate the Point San Luis Lighthouse Station, circa 1890, as a historical, educational, and recreational site, for the use and enjoyment of the public through tours, events, and educational programs. Point San Luis is part of the Harbor District’s vision of maintaining a sustainable harbor that preserves our marine heritage and character.
We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization and are supported by people like you. Proceeds from tours, weddings, memberships, events, donations, and special events all go into preserving the Lighthouse and it’s history.
As with most theaters, ticket sales alone cannot keep us afloat. We rely on other income to help fund our productions and ongoing expenses. No one in our organization gets paid, and we are a non-profit business, so all money goes toward purchasing Rights and Royalties, set construction and decoration, advertising, printing, costuming, etc. Your donation is tax-deductible, and can be earmarked for the General Fund or for any area that you specify. If you are interested in sponsoring a show, please contact us.

ABOUT US
Bret and Kimber Black are a ranching family originally from the Central Coast of California. Nine years ago, they made the bold decision to relocate their family and cattle ranch to Texas, where they have continued to pursue their passion for ranching.
Alongside raising their children in the heart of Texas ranch country, Bret and Kimber discovered a love for vintage and antique ranch items—a passion that eventually connected them with Kathy and Susi, the original founders of the esteemed Three Speckled Hens Vintage Market & Antique Show.
In Weatherford, the Blacks immerse their children in the ranching lifestyle, teaching them the values of hard work, resilience, and a deep respect for the land. The family enjoys exploring abandoned properties, clearing the land of remnants from the past, and bringing these forgotten treasures back to life. Kimber, with her love for all things old, carefully curates these items for the market, ensuring that each piece carries with it a story and a piece of history.
Together, Bret and Kimber blend their love for ranching and antiques, creating a life that honors the past and tells a story for future generations, both in their work and in raising their family!
You may find their unique Texas Finds in The Vintage Farm and Ranch booth at one of the events. Alongside a spectacular line up of local vintage and antique dealers.
Thank you for being here!
Sincerely, Kimber & Bret Black

37th Annual AAUW GARDEN TOUR
Sunday, April 27, 2025
1:00 - 5:00 PM
Mark your calendars because the Morro Bay Garden Tour is back! The tour is scheduled for Sunday, April 27th from 1-5pm. There are four gardens featured, and we highly recommend that you visit them all, however; the tour is self-guided and can be enjoyed at the pleasure of your own pace.
We hope you’ll join us!
This is the major fundraiser for the Morro Bay Branch of the American Association of University Women. Proceeds are used for high school scholarships in Morro Bay and to send several 7th grade girls to a TECH summer camp to study the STEM subjects.
THE GARDENS
1. 2224 Coral Avenue (Cloisters) / Morro Bay
From Hwy 1 turn west on San Jacinto, left on Coral
The cozy Cloisters cottage is complemented by a charming garden alive with vibrant colors and inviting walkways. Garden by Gabriel provided the original design layout, and current owners Jeannie Palermo and Terri Cambell have added their own delightful garden art, pretty mosaic pavers, compact veggie beds and riotous splashes of alstroemeria amongst the handsome succulent, aloe specimens and accent rocks. Jeannie has also creatively painted the utility boxes in the front yard to cleverly disguise them as garden art. The backyard patio is a perfect place for relaxation with a garden view.
2. 410 Fairview Avenue / Morro Bay
From Hwy 1 take Morro Bay Blvd, left on Kern, left on Ridgeway, left on Fairview, 2nd house on the right
Spoiler alert! You are entering an artist’s “legacy” garden filled with trees, plants, and art that enkindle memories of the owner and his family. Jeff Carney, whose paintings are often featured at SLOMA and the Morro Bay Art Center, enjoys creating art in his garden as well. His grandfather purchased this lot in MB to graze horses in 1940, and Jeff has turned it into a fanciful hillside landscape. Colorful birdhouses abound, and ordinary objects have been repurposed into whimsical eye-catching art forms. The home's front entrance is a delightful sitting area with a magnificent view of the bay.
3. 1500 13th Street / Los Osos
From South Bay Blvd turn west on Santa Ysabel, left on 13th (garden on left at corner of Paso Robles)
A white picket fence with a vine-covered entrance gate will invite you into Mary Jefferson’s lovely front yard, where an array of succulent’s flourish beneath a magnificent pepper tree. Sage Landscape has rejuvenated the plantings throughout Mary’s property. In her backyard, ferns and other shade-loving pants thrive beneath an arbor and hang from a spectacular strawberry tree. She has repurposed a large birdbath into an eye-catching planter near her charming blue garden shed. There’s so much to see here!
4. 1958 Los Osos Valley Road (D & D Floral Designs) / Los Osos
On LOVR, parking only at Baptist Church at corner of Lariat, no parking on LOVR
Welcome to Debbie Deis’s old-fashioned farm where colorful flowers, fruit trees, vegetable row-crops, critters, lily ponds, garden art and what not galore all thrive harmoniously. Take your time browsing because surprises large and small are to be found everywhere! Greet the bunnies, cluck to the chickens, marvel at the fabulous ceramic art and the fishpond with a waterfall, visit the succulent-filled hothouse and sheltered tropical pants and fern room. Reminisce about bygone days when Aermotor windmills and metal milk cans were everyday essentials. Inhale the amazing fragrances throughout the garden!

"Sweet Lullabies" Perinatal Sound Journeys
for prenatal mamas and postnatal mamas/caregivers and babies up to 1 year
at Coast Yoga & Movement, Los Osos
Alternating Tuesdays between Coast Yoga in Los Osos and SYYNC Studio in SLO
Join us for a soothing sound journey created especially for parents (including expectant parents), partners, and caregivers with babies up to one year old. This is a nourishing space for deep relaxation, bonding, and well-being for both you and your precious little one.
Commonly known as sound baths, these experiences feature gentle vibrations and calming harmonic tones from instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, and soft rhythmic percussion. Loud or intensely vibrating sounds are avoided to ensure a nurturing and safe environment for sensitive little ears and nervous systems.
You’ll also be guided through light breathwork and vocal toning to support nervous system regulation, emotional connection, as well as stimulates cognitive and language development.
This is a comfortable, flexible space created with your needs in mind. Feel free to tend to your baby however needed—nurse, feed, change a diaper, walk, rock, or simply be present. You're among others doing the same, with full permission to just be.
As babies become more mobile and curious, the experience may shift to include gentle movement and playful sound exploration.
Benefits of Sweet Lullabies Sound Journeys:
- Soothing Vibrations for Babies – Infants are highly receptive to sound, and gentle tones mimic the comforting sensations of the womb, supporting relaxation and sleep.
- Emotional Connection – Shared moments of sound and stillness strengthen the bond between caregivers and babies, fostering deeper attachment.
- Relaxation for Caregivers – Parenting can be overwhelming; this experience offers a chance to pause, breathe, and reset, reducing stress and creating a more peaceful home environment.
- Improved Sleep Cycles – The calming effects of sound can enhance sleep patterns for both babies and caregivers.
- Regulated Breathing & Energy – Gentle rhythms and breathwork help caregivers feel grounded and present, while babies absorb the soothing energy around them.
***As with any wellness practice during pregnancy, we encourage listening to your body and consulting with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.***
WHAT TO BRING:
- something to lie on (ex- yoga mat)
- something cozy (blankets, pillows)
- any items to help keep baby comfortable

Our class participants will take a tour with guide and owner Jeff Dobbs at their ranch where they house hundreds of animals that have been rescued. The extended Dobbs family took over the non-profit, Turtle and Tortoise Rescue, 6 ½ years ago from Bob and Judy Thomas. They extended their rescues to include all kinds of animals (sheep, goats, alpacas, emus, and many different birds).
All of the animals have stories of where and how they have been rescued, whether by private parties or other agencies such as Pacific Wildlife Care, Fish and Game, or Animal Services.
The Dobbs are committed to making our 5-acre rescue a place that is good for animals, good for people, and good for the environment through conservation, sustainability, and education.
They use the ranch for numerous school field trips, with many kids getting community hours to satisfy graduation requirements.
This one hour stroll will take you throughout the ranch. Comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunglasses are suggested. Feel free to bring romaine or zucchini to feed the masses.
Jeff and Dr. Tammy Dobbs have always loved turtles and tortoises and when they rescued a badly-chewed up box turtle from a ranch in Nipomo (now named Jacque), they came to know Bob Thomas and the Turtle & Tortoise Rescue well. When Bob mentioned he was preparing to retire and was considering closing the ranch, Jeff and Tammy stepped in to continue the good work of the rescue.

RENT
Set in the East Village of New York City, Rent is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent has become a pop cultural phenomenon. with songs that rock and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages.
Based loosely on Puccini's La Boheme, Jonathan Larson's Rent follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. The physical and emotional complications of the disease pervade the lives of Roger, Mimi, Tom and Angel. Maureen deals with her chronic infidelity through performance art; her partner, Joanne, wonders if their relationship is worth the trouble. Benny has sold out his Bohemian ideals in exchange for a hefty income and is on the outs with his former friends. Mark, an aspiring filmmaker, feels like an outsider to life in general. How these young bohemians negotiate their dreams, loves and conflicts provides the narrative thread to this groundbreaking musical.

Hello, faithful readers. As I previously revealed in my last article, it’s the Chorale’s 35th Anniversary, and we’ve been diligently working to perfect our sound. As we welcome our 35th year of sharing music with our community, we’re polishing our sound and preparing for our upcoming concerts in May. Our concerts will be on Saturdays this year, May 10th and 17th at 2:00 pm, at our beloved venue, the Community Presbyterian Church in Cambria.
One of the songs that truly moves many of us, is “Love Never Fails”, which is based on Corinthians 13:1-8. It brings tears to many who know the true love of another. It is a beautiful song, and the quartet that leads us into this exquisite piece is Diane DeMarco, Gail Rose, Loretta Butterfield, and Denee Signorelli. Have your love next to you on this one, and may I suggest having a tissue or two nearby to wipe the tears away.
The Chorale isn’t shy about trying new things or the refined sound of a classic. We all love a ballad and who knew Bob Dylan would make his way into our selection? But he has. Three of our talented singers will harmonize their voices throughout this treat. This selection will feature the beautiful voices of Debbie Hori, Barb MacDonough, and Kate Perry. Another fun song we all know and love, “Day-O”. Let’s not forget the amazing voice from the Bass Section, Bruce Young, getting us singing our woes of Banana picking of this classic,
Our featured piece is a medley from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast. Michael Green will be our Master of Ceremonies for the opening of this tune. We’re certain that you’ll also enjoy a bit of chant when we perform the beautiful piece “Sing We and Chant It.” Touching and moving to many is the song “And So it Goes.” It features Soprano, Deb Addis. (This song is truly a tear-jerker for many, including this writer.) Another favorite Chorale selection is “Bring Me Little Water, Silvy”. It is a blues ballad, with a solo from our very own, Marci Suvanto, from the Alto Section. Bringing it all together throughout the program, our narrator will be the amazing Steve Dowding. His soothing voice and smile alone will move us all throughout the concert. Thank you, Steve.
Tickets are now available for our May concerts. Tickets are just $20.00 for adults. Students with ID are free. You can purchase tickets for our Spring Concerts from a Chorale member or online through our website, https://cambriachorale.org, or at My805Tix.com. And we thank the Cambria Chamber of Commerce, which will again be selling tickets. You can also purchase your tickets on concert day if they are available. Please note that the May concert performances will take place on Saturday afternoons and will not be our usual Sunday performance. Our events are on Saturday, May 10th, 2:00 pm, and Saturday, May 17th, 2:00 pm at the Community Presbyterian Church of Cambria, 2250 Yorkshire Drive. We hope you’ll join us for what we feel is one of our best concerts ever. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].

How do the cells in your body know whether to create skin or an eye? From the patches on a cow and the waves in sand dunes, to the structure of the universe, this class is an introduction to Chaos Theory, the science of how the complexity of our universe stems from simple rules repeated over and over and how infinitesimal changes in the input to a complex, dynamic system can have extreme effects on the system’s outcome; i.e. the Butterfly Effect.
Chaos Theory explains the fluctuations in the stock market, the variations in weather patterns, heart rhythms, and evolution. Chaos Theory has upended the Newtonian, clockwork concept of the universe.
Dr. Greiling has given numerous lectures and moderated many discussion classes for LLCC since its inception in 2012.

We are so excited to return for more rhythm-making at the amazing Mystic Nature Gift Shop in Nipomo, surrounded by crystals, rocks, gems, jewelry and handmade gifts from local artisans with a love of all things nature.

About "Joyful Rhythms" Drum Circle:
This facilitated drumming experience offers a welcoming, inclusive space for all - no experience is necessary! Participants are gently supported through an engaging process that uses rhythm to awaken creativity, connection, and joy. We emphasize social connection, emotional release, and the healing power of rhythm as tools to nurture well-being from the inside out.
Through simple instructions, playful rhythm games, and dynamic activities, the group is invited to explore the instruments, build confidence, and connect with one another. Over time, the music begins to flow more freely and organically, as we co-create a rhythm ensemble that’s alive and ever-changing.
While there is guidance and direction throughout the experience, ample space is given for improvisation and free-flowing expression. Within the supportive container of a facilitated circle, your natural rhythm is free to rise, play, and evolve, allowing moments of spontaneity to emerge from a place of trust and group connection.

Our drumming experiences are not only FUN—they’re also a pathway to well-being. Rooted in ancient traditions and integrated in a model of modern, evidence-based practices, our drumming experiences offer a wide range of therapeutic and holistic health benefits for your body, mind, and spirit. Whether you seek stress relief, emotional release, or simply a moment of pure joy, these sessions nourish every aspect of your being.
Our circles welcome those who have never touched a drum before (but always felt drawn to the rhythmic beats). Participants are encouraged to express themselves freely without worrying about “getting it right”. It’s more about experience than technical skill.

On occasion we all use swear words to express intensity of emotion or level of conviction. Why do we use them? Why do we call them “swear” words? Why are the swear words we use most often taboo terms referring to faith, sex, and bodily functions? Are swear words historically and culturally-bound?
WARNING: This is a class for people who are comfortable seeing, hearing, and speaking taboos. The mature content of this course may not be suitable for all audiences.

FREE SERIES! Sponsored by Adventist Health- Sierra Vista in SLO
Join us for a soothing, nourishing, and revitalizing Sound Journey experience facilitated by Dee DiGioia of Mindful Kindful YOUniversity. Each Sound Journey—also known as a Sound Bath—offers a gentle, immersive experience featuring a soothing soundscape created by crystal and metal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and other therapeutic instruments. These calming sounds help ease tension, quiet the mind, and encourage a deep sense of inner peace. Complementary practices such as breathwork, rhythm, and gentle movement may also be integrated for promoting deep relaxation and restoring balance to the body and mind.
The Benefits of Sound Journeys
Sound immersion is widely recognized as a valuable complement to conventional medical and mental health care. Scientific research has shown that sound immersion experiences can support many dimensions of physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being by:
- Reducing stress and anxiety
- Increasing relaxation
- Providing pain relief
- Supporting immune function
- Lowering blood pressure and calming heart rate
- Improving sleep quality
- Enhancing mood and emotional resilience
- Enhancing body awareness
How Sound Works
Sound frequencies facilitate profound relaxation and potentiate healing by engaging the parasympathetic nervous system—the part of the nervous system responsible for rest, repair, and digestion. As the body shifts out of a stress response and into a state of safety and ease, deep restoration becomes possible.
One of the key mechanisms behind this is brainwave entrainment, which occurs when the brain’s fluctuating electrical patterns begin to synchronize with a stable external rhythm. Instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes emit frequencies that gently guide the brain into slower, more meditative states—such as alpha and theta waves—supporting clarity, creativity, and inner stillness.
This process not only releases tension but also helps clear blocked or stagnant energy that may underlie mental, emotional, or physical challenges. Many participants report feeling lighter, calmer, and more grounded afterward.
As the nervous system resets and the energetic body rebalances, revitalizing energy emerges and flows naturally. In this coherent state, your body’s innate intelligence is activated, restoring balance, harmony, and connection to your true nature—your natural, healthy vibrational state.

Who We Are
The SLO Blues Organization has three (3) main objectives. Our first is to provide first-rate and affordable family entertainment to California’s Central Coast residents. We believe it is our responsibility as a local business to give back to this great community. To this end, we have established Outreach Programs like the Charity Partners Program, the Educational Partner Program, and the Blues Buddies Program. Many animals produce beautiful mating displays, but their evolution is a puzzle because they seem incompatible with survival. Darwin first proposed a viable explanation, but how we view his theory and how we study mating behavior has changed since then. In this multi-media presentation, Dr. Kolluru will speculate on the past and future of studying mating behavior and its consequences in animals, including humans. Come see why her "Biology of Sex" class has become one of the most popular on the Cal Poly campus. And if you have any "Ask Dr. Gita..." questions, we undoubtedly will have some interesting conversations!
During this course you will see filmed scenes of animals mating and hear discussion about sex in animals including humans. If this makes you uncomfortable this course may not be appropriate for you.
Cal Poly Professor Gita Kolluru has spent a lifetime studying the mating tactics of fish and insects. Dr. Kolluru is a Canadian transplant who left Ontario, Canada for nearby Ontario, California to do her MA and PhD at UC Riverside. She has studied fish in Cuba, Trinidad and Costa Rica, and crickets in Hawaii. She identifies her work as studying the costs and benefits of sexually selected displays and aggressive intermale interactions.

A Tribute to Arlo & Woody Guthrie Concert
Come celebrate legendary folk singers Woody & Arlo Guthrie on Sunday, June 1 at Cambria Center for the Arts Theatre (CCAT)! We'll cover a wide range of topical ballads and broadsides, from Woody's Dust Bowl Ballads, to Arlo's hits like City of New Orleans.
The performers include local duo Bay Love, Cambria's own Bev Prayer, Central Coast faves Chet Perryess, and Holly Ann Lewis, Carpinteria's The Dennis & Laura Show, SoCal songsters Kern Richards and Steve Bannon, and several Santa Cruz area musicians: Michael Gaither, Woody Bell and Lola Guthrie.
Woodrow Wilson Guthrie was an American singer-songwriter and composer who was one of the most significant figures in American folk music. "This Land is Your Land" is his best-known work, but Guthrie also wrote hundreds of country, folk, and children's songs. Arlo went on to record and perform his father's music, as well as create new originals, such as "Alice's Restaurant Massacree", a satirical talking blues song about 18 minutes in length that has since become a Thanksgiving anthem.
The concert is produced by Songwriters at Play, husband-wife team Steve Key and Bonnie Nelson-Key. Their tributes at CCAT have included the music of Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, James Taylor, Carole King, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez, and Bob Dylan. www.songwritersatplay.com

The United States has a long history of first welcoming, then expelling refugees who sought escape from war, persecution, violence and privation abroad. This course will focus on one telling refugee group, our Cambodian allies during the Viet Nam War. Their American immigrant experience will explore the legal grounds for deportation, the processes of expulsion, and the human costs of double displacement and betrayal.
The deportation of legal permanent residents is not new, it has been happening for decades. Included among those sent back are refugees who sought shelter in the U.S. from war, persecution or violence. This talk will explore the legislation that allows for their deportation, telling the story largely through one group, Cambodian Americans who arrived after the Vietnam War. The trauma they endured, the role U.S. policy played in their displacement and what happened to them once they were resettled here, as well as how they fared after they were sent back, will all be discussed

The Laramie Project
June 12, 13, & 14 at 7:00 PM
CongregationHouse Productions is thrilled to present this Second Annual Reader’s Theater presentation of The Laramie Project.
Finding forgiveness, compasion, and hope even in the darkest times. The Laramie Progect is a breathtaking collage that explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable.
THE STORY: In October 1998, Matthew Shepard, a twenty-one-year-old student at the University of Wyoming was kidnapped, severely beaten, and left tied to a fence in the middle of the prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming.
Moisés Kaufman and fellow members of the Tectonic Theater Project made six trips to Laramie over the course of a year and a half, in the aftermath of the beating and during the trial of the two young men accused of killing Shepard. They conducted more than 200 interviews with the people of the town, the breadth of the reactions is fascinating. This production is a deeply moving theatrical experience from those interviews and their own experiences in Laramie.

"WE'RE GONNA BRING YOUR PARTY UP TO A NICE, RESPECTABLE LEVEL."
--Duncan, Some Kind of Wonderful
The Molly Ringwald Project, hailing from the Central and South Coasts of California, is a top drawing 80s tribute band, to put it simply.
Brought together by the Force, the Powers of Grey Skull, the Flux Capacitor, a beat up Swatch Watch wrapped around an old can of Aquanet, and just a pinch of discarded MX Missile fuel, tMRP brings an authentic show to sold out crowds throughout California. Paying homage to all the songs stuck in their heads from the days of yore, tMRP brings an unparalleled energy to every show and venue they have the good fortune to play in.

POLIO ERADICATION INITIATIVE:
In 1988, 350,000 people—mostly children under the age of 5—were paralyzed or died from polio. In an effort to protct the children of the world, Rotary and its partners formed the Global Polio Eradication Initiative with the bold commitment to permanently eradicate the disease.
Today cases have been reduced by 99.9% and it is estimated that 19.4 million people are walking who would otherwise have been paralyzed and 1.5 million lives have been saved. We can’t stop now. Until the disease iseradicated we risk 200,000 polio cases annually within 10 years.
For each $1 you donate to eradicate polio, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donates $2. Your donation of $25 becomes $75 and 25 of the world’s most vulnerable children can be protected from polio. Thank you for your generosity and support. Together we end polio.
