Featuring: Matt Kirshen (NBC, Comedy Central, Netflix, Showtime, TruTV), PK, Roni Shanell and Headliner Amy Silverberg (Comedy Central, Hulu, AmazonPrime).

Showtime 8pm

Hosted by Mark Christopher Lawrence 

Mark Christopher Lawrence (MCL) is an accomplished producer, actor, comedian, emcee, inspirational speaker, and auctioneer. He has received two Emmy Award nominations for his work on the short films The Flourish and $TACK$. MCL is a recipient of the San Diego Critics Circle’s Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Actor of the Year. As a national headliner, he has performed alongside comedy legends like Sinbad, Jerry Seinfeld, Rodney Dangerfield, and Jeff Foxworthy, and has headlined comedy clubs, colleges, and churches across the U.S. and Canada.

MCL’s notable roles include his portrayal of Big Mike on the NBC TV series Chuck, and he has recently starred in the holiday film Bringing Back Christmas, available on Amazon, and in the PureFlix miniseries Fragment: Oblivion. He currently appears in the fourth season of All The Queen’s Men on BET+ and will soon be seen as Judge Leland Jabs in Hot Court and Lieutenant in Meter Maids. In addition to acting, MCL is the co-executive producer of Pure Laughter, a comedy series airing on KPBS.

He also has a DryBar Comedy special titled Mark Christopher Lawrence: Clean Outta Compton and is working on multiple projects as a writer and producer.

Matt Kirshen

Matt Kirshen's precision wit has earned him an impressive reputation on the international comedy circuit. Starting his standup comedy career in the UK, he moved to America as a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He has also appeared on Comedy Central’s @Midnight, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Paul Provenza’s Green Room on Showtime, and The Nerdist, and is one of the regular guest co-hosts of StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Currently based in Los Angeles, he has been a writer for The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central, for which he was nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award, and Arrested Development on Netflix. Matt has also written for and appeared on How To Build… Everything on the Science channel and Comedy KnockOut on TruTV. His debut CD, "I Guess We'll Never Know" was named in Laughspin Magazine's top 10 albums of the year and his hit appearance at Just For Laughs festival in Montreal resulted in no fewer than 4 of his gags appearing in the Montreal Gazette's round up of their best jokes of the fest.

PK

PK is a regular at World Famous Laugh Factory, Improv, Comedy Store, Pasadena Icehouse, Haha Comedy Club, The Hollywood and Pasadena Comedy!  He has brought over 10,000 people to the clubs, many of them seeing stand up comedy live for the first time. He’s performed at over 100 universities across the United States.  He was The Grand Prize Winner of The Uncle Clyde's Comedy Cup at The Pasadena Icehouse sponsored by H2F Productions, which featured 100 comedians and he took first place.   Growing up PK stands for Paul Kim and Preacher's Kid. (Preacher's Kids = Problem Kids).

Headliner Amy Silverberg 

​Amy Silverberg is a comedian and writer based in Los Angeles. Her standup has appeared on Comedy Central (twice), Hulu, Amazon Prime, and NPR. She was featured as a New Face at the prestigious Just for Laugh Comedy Festival in Montreal. Her fiction has appeared in Best American Short Stories, The Paris Review, Granta, and elsewhere. Her debut novel First Time, Long Time is forthcoming from Grand Central Publishing / Hachette in July. She also writes television, most recently "The Movie Show" on the SYFY Channel.
