What are the best seafood choices and why? Does it matter how seafood is harvested or farmed?  What seafood is healthy/unhealthy for me? We will explore various commercial fishing methods, including fish farming, and their impacts on the marine environment. This information will empower you to make healthy seafood choices that also help sustain the world’s fisheries and the marine environment.

Steve Hendricks grew up on the Central Coast. He holds a B.S. in Fish Biology from Humboldt State, an M.S. in Fish Biology from Oregon State, and worked for more than a decade as a fish biologist in California, Alaska, Oregon and Idaho.
