The Cambria Rotary Club is asking you to help us raise vital funds that will eradicate and prepare us for a Polio free world.
The event is a 5K Walk or Run, which is the equivalent of 3 miles, and we are going to be traversing Fiscalini Ranch, from Shamel Park. Outstanding ocean views as you walk with family and friends.
$25 per participant.
Registration and check-in starts at 8:30 - Race starts at 9:00 AM!
POLIO ERADICATION INITIATIVE:
In 1988, 350,000 people—mostly children under the age of 5—were paralyzed or died from polio. In an effort to protct the children of the world, Rotary and its partners formed the Global Polio Eradication Initiative with the bold commitment to permanently eradicate the disease.
Today cases have been reduced by 99.9% and it is estimated that 19.4 million people are walking who would otherwise have been paralyzed and 1.5 million lives have been saved. We can’t stop now. Until the disease iseradicated we risk 200,000 polio cases annually within 10 years.
For each $1 you donate to eradicate polio, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donates $2. Your donation of $25 becomes $75 and 25 of the world’s most vulnerable children can be protected from polio. Thank you for your generosity and support. Together we end polio.

From there, you can change the name on the ticket & email it to the transferred person.

On behalf of all attendees for which I am registering. I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the End Polio Now Walk/Run 5k Fundraiser offered by Rotary Club of Cambria Foundation, Inc,. I understand that participation in this Activity involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other losses that may arise from my participation. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Activity, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby waive, release, and discharge Rotary Club of Cambria Foundation, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives (collectively referred to as the "Released Parties"), from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that may arise as a result of my participation in the Activity, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise. I also agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the Activity. I understand and acknowledge that this waiver of liability and hold harmless agreement applies to any and all claims, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with the Activity. I affirm that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the Activity. I further acknowledge that I have carefully read this waiver of liability and hold harmless agreement, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
