West Coast Gumbo brings a high-energy mix of jazz, blues, funk, and swing to the stage, delivering a vibrant and soulful performance that keeps audiences engaged. Their signature sound blends classic jazz traditions with New Orleans-style rhythms, making for an unforgettable show.
Adding to the excitement, special guest Dave Ruffner—a well-known trombonist with deep roots in the New Orleans jazz scene—will be joining the band. Ruffner’s powerful brass playing and infectious energy will add a dynamic edge to an already stellar lineup.
Opening Act: Tevis Ranger Jazz Ensemble
The Tevis Ranger Jazz Ensemble showcases the incredible young talent of the Central Coast. Known for their skilled musicianship and energetic performances, this student group brings a fresh take on jazz classics while keeping the spirit of traditional jazz alive.

For over four decades, the Basin Street Regulars have been promoting live jazz concerts and dance events, including the annual Jubilee by the Sea. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, BSR is dedicated to preserving and celebrating traditional jazz while also funding scholarships for young musicians to attend jazz camps.
