Join a live docent via Zoom for an interactive virtual tour of the Point San Luis Lighthouse.
Using Zoom, a docent will lead guests on a tour of this historic site. Guests will travel back in time to1890, delve into the lighthouse’s history, and see all the things one would see on an “in-person” tour, plus more. We’ll explore the light station’s grounds, visit the head Keeper’s dwelling, see all the rooms, climb the lighthouse tower to the lantern room with its spectacular views of San Luis Bay, step inside the fog signal room, admire the beautiful Fresnel lens, and see its beacon flashing.
Along the way, the docent will talk about how, through the years, the keepers and their families lived at Point San Luis Light Station. Tours run every Wednesday at 11:00 AM (Pacific Time) and last about an hour. Tickets are $10. All ticket proceeds go toward operating, maintaining, restoring, and preserving this California Central Coast hidden gem.

All ticket proceeds go toward operating, maintaining, restoring, and preserving this California Central Coast hidden gem.
May 14: DINNER NIGHT - Chef Anthony will be serving up a GOURMET BURGER BAR with brioche buns, ground beef or grilled chicken patties, and all the fixin's. Broccoli Salad, French Fries, and Sweet Potato Fries accompany this meal. Dress is casual. BYO beverages.

Lynda Mondragon, Santa Maria Civic Theatre regular, is playing the role of “Director” in this fun combination of theater games and TV game show. Based on the British television game show Task Master, SMCT will reinvent the model with a theatrical flair. Six familiar SMCT performers are putting their game faces on as the “Stage Manager”, Jeffrey Staso arranges unique and ridiculous tasks for the competitors to complete. Which one of our competitors will win the title of SMCT Directors Cut Champion and take home the prestigious trophy? Who will find themselves not making the director’s cut? Find out on Saturday, May 29th. Doors Open at 6:30 PM and the show will begin at 7:00PM.
