Songwriters at Play presents a tribute to the music of postman-turned-performing songwriter John Prine. Show begins at 7pm at Humdinger Brewing in San Luis Obispo. Tickets are on sale now ($20 general)!
Performers include the trio Sisters of Song, and solo artists Cynthia Ford, Bradly Coats, Christi Mariscal, Jonathan Low-Fi, Gary Garrett, Victoria Roberts, Lone Quail, and Barry McGuire.
Come enjoy Prine classics such as Angel from Montgomery, Hello in There, Paradise, Dear Abby, and Illegal Smile. We'll also dig deep into the JP discography. Host Steve Key is also the host of the monthly open mic at Humdinger. Songwriters at Play has produced many tribute concerts in SLO County, celebrating the likes of Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, and Donovan.
