May 14th, the monthly SLOFunny Comedy Jamboree comes to a close at the Eagles Aerie #3693 in Morro Bay. Hosted by Edi Gibosn, with local comedians Aidan Candelario & Nick Malizia, special guest Nick Guerra, Featuring Dave Murphy and Headliner Kiran Deol.
This Mother's Day take your best girl out for an evening of food and laughs at the Eagles Aerie in Morro Bay. Great food, drinks and an amazing lineup. Hosted by Cuesta College and "Glee" Alumn Edi Gibson, with Special Guest Nick Guerra. Featuring Hollywood's favorite vagabond David "Murph" Murphy and Headliner Kiran Deol (Sunnyside, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family).

Edrina Bliss Gibson, Edi for short. Edi is also no stranger to the Central Coast. In 2008, she was President of the Cuesta College ASB. She was also a regular member of the Cheerios on the hit series Glee. Since her time on screen and away from the SLO, Edi has been touring the country as corporate comedian. She is wonderfully hilarious and her comedy will surely hit home with the crowds here in Morro Bay.



Local Comedians Nick Malizia & Aidan Candalerio

Adian Candaelario has a very unique sense of humor. He regularly hosts open mics and shows in San Luis Obispo. Last year, he was the first local comedian to be accepted into the annual SLO Comedy Fastival.

Nick Malizia has a very out of the box way of thinking that fuels his comedy and has guests thinking as much as they are laughing. His every day observations are utterly hilarious.




Special Guest Nicholas Guerra

Nick Guerra is described by many of his fans as a perfect date night comedian, Nick Guerra is guaranteed to make you laugh over all the little absurdities we all face in relationships. Whether you’re a new couple or married many years, his insight into the love life will have you believing that he has cameras installed in your place. He has been featured on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, has a Dry Bar comedy special “Enjoy Life” and an HBO half hour comedy special “Love Me At My Worst”. He made his TV debut on the Comedy Central show “Stand Up Revolution with Gabriel Iglesias” and was a fan favorite on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He also is soon releasing his next comedy album “Early Show Late Show” this spring.
 



Featuring David "Murph" Murphy

David Murphy is an international comedian born and raised in Los Angeles. He's performed at the Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, and the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and London. He's done over 40 national commercials for companies like Apple, Nissan, McDonald's, Miller Lite, Tide, and Home Depot. He also did a worldwide campaign for Captain Morgan. When Murph’s not topping off the humor as the host of 60 Shots to Fame, he’s either reflecting on is time working with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, or breaking hearts as a Hollywood hustler. 



Headliner Kiran Deol

Kiran is a comedian who was recently named one of Entertainment Weekly’s “11 Asian American Comics Who Killed It This Year.” As an actor, she starred on the NBC/Hulu comedy Sunnyside, in addition to other shows like How to Get Away with Murder and Modern Family. She’s a co-host on Crooked Media’s Hysteria podcast and a touring stand-up comedian who headlined the NY Comedy Festival, the Kennedy Center, and more. As a writer/director, Kiran has made films for HBO and Sundance, been nominated for an Emmy, and shortlisted for an Academy Award. She loves naps and ice cream.
