This special event will highlight the vibrant jazz and swing dance talent from Cal Poly’s music and performing arts programs. Attendees can look forward to an exciting afternoon of live jazz, energetic swing dancing, and a lively dance floor.

Featured Performances:

Kathryn Loomis & Co. – Jazz vocalist and Cal Poly alumna performing classic jazz, pop favorites, and original music.

Early Risers Jazz Combo – A student-led jazz ensemble from Cal Poly, directed by Dylan Johnson.

Cal Poly Swing Dance Club – Live swing dance demonstration featuring Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, and more!

Support Local Jazz & Dance – Donations collected during the event will benefit the Early Risers Jazz Combo and the Cal Poly Swing Dance Club.

Jam Session: 11:00 AM ($5 entry for jammers, sign in at the door)
Main Concert: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM

For over four decades, the Basin Street Regulars have been promoting live jazz concerts and dance events, including the annual Jubilee by the Sea. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, BSR is dedicated to preserving and celebrating traditional jazz while also funding scholarships for young musicians to attend jazz camps.
