Join us on Thursday, March 6, for the inaugural Excellence in Education Awards Gala, a special evening celebrating the outstanding achievements of our dedicated employees. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Santa Maria Fairpark Convention Center building (937 S. Thornburg St.).
This prestigious gala will honor distinguished employees, nominated by their peers and selected by a panel of community partners. To mark the occasion, we invite you to dress in your finest semi-formal attire.
Your ticket includes a delectable sit-down catered dinner featuring appetizers, two entrées and dessert, along with live entertainment by the Central Coast’s premier dance band, Steppin’ Out, and dancing until 10 p.m. There will also be a no-host bar. Spouses, partners, friends, and family are warmly welcome to join in the celebration.
The Excellence in Education Awards Gala offers a wonderful opportunity to unite as a community, recognize the exceptional contributions of SMBSD staff, and celebrate the many ways they exemplify excellence in their work every day. We look forward to sharing this memorable evening with you!

If this event allows ticket transfers, you can transfer tickets to someone else by going into your confirmation email > View & Manage Order > Edit Ticket Info / Transfer.
From there, you can change the name on the ticket & email it to the transferred person.
