First 90ish Minutes: "Joyful Rhythms" Drumming Experience

• Led by Dee DiGioia of Mindful Kindful YOUniversity, this facilitated drumming circle offers a welcoming environment for all, from beginners to experienced drummers. Unlike traditional open drum circles, Dee gently guides participants in a structured, intentional experience designed to inspire connection, build community, and nourish the spirit. Feel the uplifting energy as rhythm resonates through your heart, invigorates your body, and nourishes your soul.
• No prior experience required—just bring an open heart and a playful spirit!
• Bring your drum if you have one, or simply bring your curiosity—Dee will provide the instruments!

Following 60 Minutes: Fall Nature Art Creation

• Guided by Nicole Lucier of Craft, Crop, Create, you’ll have the chance to channel your creative energy into a hands-on art activity, perfect for expressing and grounding the joyful energy from drumming. 
• During this creative time, you will complete an exquisite fall foilage portrait on an 11 x 14 canvas board. Absolutely no drawing skills are required. Unless you wish to draw the woman yourself, you will be tracing a pre-drawn image (by local artist, Janice Lucier) onto your canvas and embellishing her hair & upper body with pieces of nature from our beautiful Central Coast!

Dee DiGioia, Mindful Kindful YOUniversity

As a holistic educator and guide, my mission is to illuminate pathways to enhanced health and well-being through transformative experiences such as Sound Immersion Journeys, Facilitated Drumming Experiences, and Mindfulness-based Nature Retreats. Each offering creates a sacred space for nurturing and nourishing body, mind, and spirit while promoting therapeutic and holistic health benefits across mental, physical, and social dimensions of well-being, including stress relief.

I offer both public and private events throughout San Luis Obispo County.

Nicole Lucier, Craft Crop Create

Nicole is your Creative Coach! She can remember being an elementary school student and absolutely loving her art classes. With the encouragement of her parents, she took private art lessons as well. Nicole can fondly remember creating in her aunt’s craft room and doing craft sewing with her mom. She was also an avid sticker collector in the mid 1980’s and still has her childhood sticker albums (ask to see them in the Studio when you come visit!). Although her art education ended in high school, she continued creating throughout college by using puffy paints with her roommates to make T-shirts and other fun crafts! Nicole is still making this type of art
