Wine Country Theatre presents Charlotte’s Web at Harris Stage Lines
Embark on a heartwarming journey into the enchanting world of E.B. White's timeless tale with Wine Country Theatre's captivating production of Charlotte's Web directed by Veronica Surber. This is not children's theatre, but it is for families, including children of all ages.
Surber is thrilled to be making her directorial debut with a childhood classic, “When we needed a director. I jumped at the chance to get my feet wet with this show. I knew I could find the right storytellers and I succeeded! The cast is ready to get started and that makes me so happy! Make sure to check out the show and see many new faces here at Wine Country Theatre!”
Meet Wilbur, played by Paso Robles High School Freshman, Amelia Baker, the extraordinary farmhouse pig determined to avoid his fate on the dinner table. But Wilbur's destiny takes a miraculous turn when an unexpected ally emerges in the form of a clever barn spider named Charlotte, equipped with remarkable writing skills. Lindsey Villanueva-Taylor is excited to bring this friendly spider to life, “I am so excited to share Charlotte’s warmth and heart. She is a beautiful example of friendship and unconditional love.”
Board Producer and cast member, Jacob Shearer states, “Charlotte’s Web affirmed my love for animals and storytelling as a child and now that I am a part of a team bringing it to life for audiences of children and adults, it makes this process so much more rewarding.” Join us at the picturesque outdoor stage of Harris Stage Lines in Paso Robles as we bring this beloved children's story to life with a talented cast of both adults and young performers.
