Buttercup Bakery in the heart of Downtown Morro Bay is not only THE spot to grab delicious food & drink, but it’s also become a gathering spot and stage for super fun summer concerts. 

Come join in on the good times on Thursday evenings from 5:00 - 8:00 for a great 7 concert series in August / September. You’ll find your local favorite bands, cold beer, nice wines, and AMAZING food. It’s FREE & family-friendly, and the place to be on Thursdays!

B & the Hive - 9/14

With every beat, B & the Hive's ethereal blend of Alternative Rock & Indie Pop pulses with heart and soul. Both modern and timeless, this California-raised band conjures beloved artists of the past, while continually forging a path uniquely their own. From guitar-driven anthems to moody pop mantras and hook-laden melodies, there is a conscious undercurrent of stirring lyrics that deeply move the listener and leave them wanting more.

For nearly a decade, B & the Hive’s founding members and co-songwriters, Brianna Lee & Josh Barrett have existed purely to make music from the soul. Drawing from early inspiration (The Cure, Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac), their sound relates to the current realm of artists (Sharon Van Etten, Big Thief, Warpaint) and remains ever-evolving. The combined talents and direction of Josh (producer/bass/multi-instrumentalist) and the stunning vocals and stage presence of Brianna, armed with a powerful cast of musicians, culminate in a dynamic and exhilarating live show, that captivates audiences wherever they perform.

The intoxicating experience of B & The Hive continually lands them at top venues and festivals on the West Coast (Great American Music Hall, Vina Robles Amphitheater, Mountain Winery, Henry Miller Library, Hotel Cafe, Humphrey's by the Bay, Bottle Rock, Live Oak, & Whalerock Music Festivals) supporting world-renowned artists (Alanis Morrisette, Goo Goo Dolls, Ben Harper, Elvis Costello, Chris Isaak, Lucinda Williams, Allen Stone). This is a rare opportunity to see this powerhouse band in such an intimate setting.

Refund Policy

All items are nonrefundable under any circumstances. 

Item Transfer Policy

If this event allows ticket transfers, you can transfer tickets to someone else by going into your confirmation email > View & Manage Order > Edit Ticket Info / Transfer. 

From there, you can change the name on the ticket & email it to the transferred person. 

Age RestrictionAll ages are welcome, as this is a family-friendly event in the heart of Morro Bay.  Must be at least age 21 to purchase alcoholic beverages.
