Our family membership packages are a great deal if your family loves coming to the aquarium often! Your membership gets you 10% discount off items in the gift shop, as well as discounts on summer camps and birthday parties. You may receive other discounts to special programs, such as Mommies and Guppies. Members will also enjoy special "member-only" events.

General Terms

We look forward to your visit. Please be sure to wash your hands if you'd like to interact with the animals.

Refund Policy

All items are nonrefundable under any circumstances. 

Item Transfer Policy

If this event allows ticket transfers, you can transfer tickets to someone else by going into your confirmation email > View & Manage Order > Edit Ticket Info / Transfer. 

From there, you can change the name on the ticket & email it to the transferred person.

About our Aquarium:

The Central Coast Aquarium is a small non-profit organization focused on marine science education. In our small 2 room aquarium, we feature approximately 16 exhibits showcasing marine life here on the Central Coast. Throughout the day, we have feedings, shark encounters, and an interactive touch tank. All proceeds go to marine science education.  Thanks so much for joining us and we can't wait to see you! 

Parking

Free street parking is available throughout Avila Beach. San Juan Street, 1st Street, San Francisco Drive, and Avila Beach Drive are nearest to the aquarium.

During the summer months, parking can become competitive, so we recommend coming early before the spaces fill up. Alternatively, guests can park at the public lot located on 1st Street (cost is $6 per day), or ride on the free Avila Trolley.

Admission fees support educational programs for PreK - 12 Grade students and animal care. 

NO RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AND YOUR TICKETS ARE VALID FOR ANY TIME WE'RE OPEN.
