The Central Coast Aquarium is a small non-profit organization focused on marine science education. In our small 2 room aquarium, we feature approximately 16 exhibits showcasing marine life here on the Central Coast. Throughout the day, we have feedings, shark encounters, and an interactive touch tank. All proceeds go to marine science education. Thanks so much for joining us and we can't wait to see you!
Free street parking is available throughout Avila Beach. San Juan Street, 1st Street, San Francisco Drive, and Avila Beach Drive are nearest to the aquarium.
During the summer months, parking can become competitive, so we recommend coming early before the spaces fill up. Alternatively, guests can park at the public lot located on 1st Street (cost is $6 per day), or ride on the free Avila Trolley.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a nonprofit marine science education center.
Admission fees support educational programs for PreK - 12 Grade students and animal care.
NO RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AND YOUR TICKETS ARE VALID FOR ANY TIME WE'RE OPEN.

All items are nonrefundable under any circumstances.
If this event allows ticket transfers, you can transfer tickets to someone else by going into your confirmation email > View & Manage Order > Edit Ticket Info / Transfer.
From there, you can change the name on the ticket & email it to the transferred person.
