The times seem to be a little shakey, but we have been here before. It's time for a revival of sorts! Come join us at the original Harry Miller Ranch, aka Lake Enchanto and now the Peter Strauss Ranch. We will step back in time with ole' Harry Miller himself, explore the history of this storied ranch and discuss his amazing accomplishments. All while sharing some time under the tree lined skies and raising our spirits with the energy of The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers and very special guest Francis Blume

The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers began as a collective of friends getting together in the summer of 2010. A choir of up to 15 revived the old Gospel spirit with songs like "I Shall Not Be Moved", "12 Gates", and "In My Time of Dying". Slowly they evolved into a band of 5, committed to embracing the richness found in early 20th century recordings. Influenced by past Gospel muscicians such as The Dixie Hummingbirds, Washington Phillips and Sister Rosetta Tharpe as well as current bands like The Black Keys, Wilco, and Calexico, the band creates a unique style drawing from rhythm and blues, indie folk and rock.
Francis Blume's interpretation of love and longing on his album "Lado De Loma" sits somewhere between Roy Orbison and Eddie Cochran (with a touch of Elvis) circa 1955 to 1965.
We will have beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks available for purchase, along with a special snack bag that Cornell Wine Co. is putting together for those that wanna travel light.
