He is a regular performer at the SLO Comedy Festival and recently recorded his first special. He is that nerd from high school that was just to busy making you laugh to get beat up and to funny to be the next Silicon Valley discovery. Whether you've seen him before or this is your first experience, Ron will definitely have you laughing. Almost like its a comic book mission.
Jonas Garvin
Jonas is the vagabond of comedy. Throughout his life he has lived just about everywhere comedy thrives. From his early years on the mean streets of Chicago, to his formative years in New Jersey, stopping in North Carolina to refine his taste buds on the savory flavors of BBQ, only to survive the Arizona heat before heading to the icy north of Minnesota. From there Jonas made his way south to the slopes of Colorado, where he heard the call of his New Jersey brother Billy Joel. He closed the shop, sold the house and bought a ticket to the West Coast. Now he gives us a standup routine in L.A.
Feature Jen Murphy
Jen has been a regular at the SLO Comedy Festival since its beginning and has had the honor of being voted Best of the Fest. She started her standup career in New York City where she spent many years performing in Live Theater, Sketch and Improv troupes before heading to Los Angeles. She has since been seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Comics Unleashed w/Byron Allen on ABC, her own half hour special on TLC called This Is Why You’re Still Single, LAUGHS TV on FOX and the the comedic film DUMBBELLS. You can also hear her album Size Does Matter on iTunes.
Headliner Adam Yenser
Back by popular demand. Adam is the first comedian we've had twice on our SLOFunny Comedy Show. As the host of our June show, there was such a demand to have him back we thought New Years Eve was the perfect occasion.
Adam isn't just know for his wit and satire on stage. He is an amazing comedic writer who has written for Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O'Brien and the Oscars. He has 8 Emmy Awards as a writer and comedian for his work on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. His comedic style and life observations make for a truly hilarious mix.
