Hosted by Jackie Gold
She’s no stranger to saying the most inappropriate things. As a stand-up comedian, she’s been making people laugh for over ten years. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, her passion for comedy stems from her East Coast Jewish roots, where she says her Dad always told her the same six jokes. She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she co-produces and co-hosts the “Whiskey and Donuts” Comedy Show. When asked about her comedy, she says, “People are sad and things are tense. I want to be the one to break it up with a little humor.”
Tommy Savitt
If laughter were the law, Tommy Savitt would throw the book at you. Well, maybe not. But he will make you laugh out loud. Quitting law school to become a comedian may not be considered the best career choice, but for Tommy, it was the right one. Born in New Jersey and raised in Brooklyn, Tommy has survived the school of hard knocks to craft comedic routines that leaves audiences cringes and grins – and a lot of laughing. His law background helps him take logic and break it down in order to make people laugh at just about anything. Tommy is a multi-award winning comedian whose slow and simple delivery on stage makes him a crowd favorite while he mixes education and sarcasm with comedic wit.
Tommy has been seen on WGN’s The Bob & Tom Show, SI TV’s Funny is Funny, National Lampoon, Man Up Stand Up on MAVTV, and on JLTV’s James and Sunda. He has appeared in commercials for Adidas, Monster.com, and Lowe’s. His CD “Who Wants Me Now!” is one of the top requested comedic segments on satellite radio.
Having a heart as well as a funny bone, Tommy has dedicated much of his time performing for our troops here and abroad. This has taken him to military bases in Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay, Japan, South Korea, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Curacao, Honduras, and Ecuador. He has even performed at the United States Embassy in Belarus.
Featuring Vince Royale
Jersey City native Vince Royale was always the class clown, though he never thought comedy would be his career. Currently living in Los Angeles, the former homeless salesman turned stand up comedian is currently on the Netflix original series "Cooking On High" and has appeared in the entire season of MTV’s “Bad Sex”, "Laughs" on Fox, “Stand Up and Deliver” on Hulu, "Not for Nothin" on Amazon Prime and currently on the horror comedy film "Attack of the Killer Donuts" on Showtime. Vince has been regularly performing in Los Angeles hot spots, New York night clubs, and touring internationally for nearly a decade. Vince is extremely down to earth and full of charisma and he has an uncanny ability to turn the things he sees into hilarity.Vince Royale also performs as multiple sketch characters which he incorporates into his stand up, parody music videos, and comedy sketch videos on social media networks. He is humble and says that his passion for comedy and ability to do what he loves in front of an audience is indeed a blessing. Vince utilizes his talents to inspire and promote positivity. He organizes comedy/music events for fundraisers and donation drives to benefit orphanages and homeless shelters in the U.S. and abroad.
Headliner Phil Johnson
Phil definitely has some dangerous grooves that will have you laughing 'til it hurts. He is a musician, song writer and stand-up comedian. His original songs are action packed and filled with the same hilarity he brings to stand-up. He's the Prince of Rock and Laugh. Phil is traveling all the way to Morro Bay from the valley of silicon and we don't mean Hollywood. Phil has a dark, devious and delicious sense of humor that will either have you laughing for days or running for the hills.
