What is Sip 'n' Saunter?
Local wineries, beverage providers, restaurants, and caterers from around the county will serve tastings and small bites at downtown retail locations. Attendees can “Sip & Saunter” their way through downtown’s beautiful tree-lined streets, sample some of the Central Coast’s finest food and drink, and discover the unique retailers in San Luis Obispo.
Where do I check in?
This year, there are two check-in locations. Please refer to your confirmation email for your check-in location.
Check-In A: Downtown SLO Office | 1135 Chorro Street
Check-In B: Seeds | 1040 Court Street
Check-in will take place beginning at 12:45 PM and ending at 2 PM. Please arrive at your location (which will be on your confirmation email and your digital ticket) within that time frame. After check-in, you are free to saunter to any of the 40+ locations of your choosing!
What will be available to sample?
With your ticket, you can access unlimited tastings from our participating food/beverage vendors. Taste beer, wine, cider, cocktails, and bites from some of the county’s best restaurants and caterers! See who's participating »
How do I get there?
Stay responsible and choose a safe ride! Free bike racks are available at the Bike Corral at the corner of Monterey & Morro, and public parking is available in all three of the parking structures downtown for free on Sundays!
We strongly encourage all guests to use a designated driver or use ride-share services.
Will shops be open during the event?
Yes! You are encouraged to shop as you sip; retailers will also be open to the public during the event, but only attendees with a Sip 'n' Saunter wristband will be able to sample drinks and bites.
Are children allowed?
This is a 21+ event only, and ID will be checked. We ask that you leave children at home.
Are pets allowed?
This event will take place inside of various retail shops in downtown SLO. We ask that you keep animals at home.
What if I have food allergies?
For allergy and ingredient information, please consult participating food and beverage providers. The ticket holder is responsible for ensuring that the food and beverages they consume are consistent with their food restrictions and preferences.
