Swing Into 2025 with Basin Street Regulars Hot Jazz Club

Join us for the first concert of the year as the Basin Street Regulars present an exciting afternoon of live music featuring The Night Blooming Jazzmen from Pasadena and local favorite Tu Chez on Sunday, January 26th. The event will take place at the Pismo Beach Veteran’s Memorial Building, 780 Bello Street, Pismo Beach.

Event Details:

Jam Session: 11:00 AM (bring your instrument and join in for just $5; sign in at the door).
Main Concert: 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Admission: $10 for members, $15 for non-members.Not a member yet? Purchase a membership at the show and receive an immediate ticket discount.
Enjoy delicious food, drinks, and our spacious wooden dance floor, perfect for dancing to the lively sounds of “Hot Swingin’ Jazz.”

Featured Band: The Night Blooming Jazzmen
The Night Blooming Jazzmen, based in Pasadena, are one of the most established traditional jazz bands in the world. Since their founding in 1975, they have performed at hundreds of festivals, thousands of concerts, and dozens of cruises, delighting audiences on nearly every continent. Now led by Dr. Les Deutsch, the band continues its legacy of joyous and spontaneous jazz, blending classic Dixieland with innovative energy. This is a performance you will not want to miss.

Opening Act: Tu Chez
Tu Chez is a local four-piece jazz combo well known on the Central Coast for their smooth, bluesy sound and engaging interpretations of jazz standards. Covering the Great American Songbook and Latin favorites, the group’s lively energy and audience interaction make them a crowd favorite. Members include Bodil Prescott on vocals, Chris Roullard on guitar, Geoff Moran on drums, and Terry Handy on bass.

The Basin Street Regulars is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the performance and preservation of traditional “Hot Swingin’ Jazz.” Funds raised from these events help provide scholarships to jazz camps for area teens and young adults, ensuring the future of jazz remains vibrant.

Membership Information
Annual memberships start at $35 for singles, $20 for students under 26, $60 for couples, $75 for families, and $150 for silver-level members. Membership includes discounted concert admission and supports the ongoing promotion of live jazz in the Central Coast community.

If this event allows ticket transfers, you can transfer tickets to someone else by going into your confirmation email > View & Manage Order > Edit Ticket Info / Transfer. 

From there, you can change the name on the ticket & email it to the transferred person.
