Trent Babb has been making crowds laugh as a shameless goofball and passionate performer. His humor focuses on his insecurities and life as a husband and father. Trent is a larger than life performer that gives his all on stage. He is a proud family man that doesn’t care for any drama, he gets enough of that at home.
Residing in Fresno with his wife and 3 kids, Trent continually performs all over California. His material focuses on life as a family man and lingering insecurities. He has co-hosted the morning radio show Eggs Bacon and Joey on KFUN 92.5 FM, won 3rd place on Rik Robert’s School of Laughs Comedy Competition, got 1st place in King’s County Talent Show and won Best Comedy Sketch by Hollywood Just4Shorts for his sketch “Proof is in the Pudding.” Trent has performed at Rooster T. Feathers (Sunnyvale, CA), Laughs Unlimited (Sacramento, CA), and has featured at The Improv (San Jose, CA), and The Well (Bakersfield, CA). He has shared the stage with notarized comedians like Derryl Hannah (SNL), Kabir Singh (AGT), and Darren Carter the Party Starter (BET). Trent is a proud family man that doesn’t care for drama, he gets enough of that at home.
Paula Jane Newman has performed on line ups including Margaret Cho, Darrell Hammond (Saturday Night Live) and on Los Angeles stages such as The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, Flappers, The Comedy Chateau. Internationally at the Sydney Comedy Club, Happy Endings Comedy Club (Sydney), the famous House of Comedy and 3E's Comedy Club. She loves to MC especially charity events where we are all working for a higher cause. Her brand Rise Up Comedy is touring to raise mental health awareness and bring comedy with a message in a clean comedy forum.
She has worked on over 100 tv/movies as either a voice talent or on camera. She is an improv artist originating in the U.K. performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Groundlings Theatre (Los Angeles) and a prior member of TheatreSports Pittsburgh. You may have caught her on local Los Angeles stages, Nevada Shakespeare Festival and more. She is a trained theatre professional from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama
