The Cell Block Seven Jazz band plays a weird collection of antique instruments and the Cuesta College Jazz Band from SLO.
They will be playing “Hot Swingin’ Jazz” at the Basin Street Regulars’ Sunday afternoon Concert from 1:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, February 26th. The show will take place at the Pismo Beach Veteran’s Memorial Building at 780 Bello Street in Pismo Beach. The jam session starts at 11:00. Bring your instrument and join in.

The Cuesta College jazz ensemble is the premier jazz group at Cuesta featuring a full big band, students of all ages playing exciting music from classics to funk, Count Basie to bossas. This group has long been known for its great music, advocacy for jazz and presence in the community. The February show will feature some swing classics and a sprinkling of modern big-band sounds.
This will be our first school band appearance in 2023. We hope to feature school bands from February through May.
