Summer Sipping 2019 Wine Passport Event
Summer Sipping Passports are $45. Reserve yours online until Friday, June 21 or until sold out.
Your passport gives you access to 20, 1oz wine samples for you to “spend” wherever you see fit at our 14 wineries and tasting rooms on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Try the newly released Syrah at Andrew Murray Vineyard, or the fresh rose at Cambria Winery, or spend a couple of your 1oz wine samples at Kenneth Volk Vineyards! Roam! Have Fun! Explore the Trail at your own pace.
SNACK SATURDAY – When you politely flash your passport at each winery you visit, you’ll be rewarded with a snack to go with your 1oz pour. Anticipate goodies like two handmade truffles from Santa Barbara chocolatier Jessica Foster; something sinfully delicious from a local, family-owned bakery; One Perfect Taco from the taco truck no one can ever remember the name of and so much more.
SUNDAY FUNDAY - As the name suggests, Sunday is for fun. Seize this opportunity to purchase some ultra-rare-vintages; get Zen with live music and a bottle of wine; refresh & beautify with The Dior Consultants. I hear there may even be a psychic or two for those who dare gaze into their future...
The iconic Garey Store & Deli on Foxen Canyon Road, whose proprietress Shawn makes the best tri-tip in these here parts, will be OPEN just for you! This is a big deal, folks. Those doors are locked tight every Sunday but not on Sunday, June 23!
We commissioned an exclusive lip balm from Foxen Canyon Soap Co., just for you. Really. Elizabeth met with Ellowyn and described how summers felt to her in the vineyard; how they envelop you at right angles to the point you feel the leaves straining to touch the sun and rejoicing when connect. It’s Energy, potential, life, past and the present.
Because Ellowyn is part faerie, she took Elizabeth’s words and transformed them into a hyper-local lip balm that’s a bright lemony yellow thanks to turmeric. This balm can only be found in your swag bag and is just our way of saying, “Hey, thanks for coming. It means a lot to us.” And just p.s. that’s not even the “big” give-away item in your bag.
A "Start & Stay" ticket gives you the freedom to pickup your passport and swag bag at your hotel INSTEAD of picking them up at a designated Check In Winery. Your weekend adventure in Santa Barbara Wine Country begins a whichever participating tasting room you choose! Our "Start & Stay" hotels are offering incredible discounts and they are conveniently located at opposite ends of the Trail.

If your group is 6 or more people, please call the tasting rooms you plan to visit and make a reservation. Some of us have pretty limited space and if we know to expect you, we'll do all we can to make room. Also, it's illegal to consume or even have an open container of alcohol that wasn't made by the winery you are currently tasting at. So please don't bring any beer or wine into a tasting room with you. And smoking or vaping isn't allowed at or near any of the tasting rooms. Remember that big fire we? No one really wants to repeat that.
Your $45 Summer Sipping Passport = 20 1oz pours of wine from world-class, highly-rated and well-regarded wineries, different snacks at EVERY winery on Saturday, live music, access to ultra-rare wines that are guaranteed to impress those friends at your next dinner party, Dior, Dahling, psychics, tacos (!), bigger mystery swag, hyper-local lip balm from Foxen Canyon Soap Co. commissioned just for you that comes in a very cool slide-top, eco tin.
