Ticket Information

Each ticket allows each ticket holder to taste 3 wines per winery visit, and have up-close access to the Zoo to You animals! There are 16+ wineries, but make sure you check them daily as they are subject to change.

Saturday and Sunday animals will be available from 12pm - 3pm. Please note that some wineries are only available on Saturday.

Ticket does not include the tasting glass, please return your glass after each tasting.

All wineries are donating their "3 tastings" towards this wonderful fundraiser.

Tickets are $60 which includes access for both days and with each paying adult you get to bring 1 child for free! Additional child tickets are $10.

Each winery will scan your digital Safari Passport to check-in with. Once you check-in you will have access to tastings at each participating winery on Saturday and Sunday.

Zoo to You Animals will be on display to see on Sunday from 12pm - 4pm ONLY.
Please be advised that different wineries are participating on different days.

General Terms

There are no dogs allowed during the event on Sunday when Zoo to You animals are present. Please leave your pooches and any other travel animal at home. No exceptions. 

All wineries and the handlers of Zoo to You reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Refund Policy

All items are nonrefundable under any circumstances. 

Cancellation Policy

This event is rain or shine. All tickets are donations to Zoo to You and are not refundable.

Item Transfer Policy

You may transfer your ticket to another person within 48 hours of the event. Email [email protected] to complete the transfer.

Age Restriction

Tasting tickets are for 21 and over only. Although children are allowed to visit the animals, some tasting rooms/facilities are 21 and over only and they may reserve the right to refuse anyone under 21 access to their facility.

FAQ:

  • What time are the Animal Ambassadors at the wineries?
    • Animal Ambassadors are scheduled to be at each participating winery from 12p-3p.  This will be subject to each individual animal handlers discretion, based on the current mood and temperament of the animal.
  • Is there a list of the Animal Ambassadors at each Winery?
    • There is no posted list of Animals prior to the event, as they are determined based on the animals current mood and temperament?  Part of the fun of Safari Sunday is sharing your discoveries with fellow Passport Holders!
  • Can I bring my dog with me?
    • No. While many of the participating 46 West Wineries are dog friendly, we kindly ask you in the best interest of safety for all to leave them at home or in your vehicle.
  • Is this event Kid Friendly?
    • Yes. Each adult ticket allows for one complimentary child wristband. Additional tickets for kids are $10. We do kindly remind you that Wine Tasting is an adult activity and please ask that you maintain control of your children during your visit at all times. Please do not approach the animals without permission from the handlers.You assume all risk and take all responsibility for your children.
  • Can I share a Safari Passport with my friend/my partner?
    • A Safari Passport is redeemable at each participating winery for 1 tasting flight of 3 selected wines.

46 West Wineries: Wine Safari Weekend! 
Benefiting Conservation Ambassadors / Zoo to You

 Drink Wine. Help Animals.  Join the Wineries of the 46 West in raising funds to support Conservation Ambassadors, home of Zoo to You, a Central Coast non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue and rehabilitate displaced wild and exotic animals.

 

Purchase a Safari Passport and explore Paso’s 46 West on Saturday, April 12th & Sunday, April 13th.  In addition to supporting a great organization, your Safari Passport offers a complimentary sampling of 3 selected wines per participating member wineries.

 

The highlight of the weekend is Safari Sunday, where Zoo to You’s Animal Ambassadors will be onsite at participating wineries for a fun meet and greet with Passport Holders.  Have you ever sipped Albariño with an Alligator?  Cabernet Sauvignon with a Camel?  This is your chance!
