On Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, come out to one of our three U-Pick locations to pick out your spring garden transplants and support SEEAG’s youth food literacy and agricultural education programs for Santa Barbara and Ventura County.

For $35, you can choose any 12 plants you would like from the selection below:
All three locations will be open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and the first 100 paid attendees at each location will receive a free bag of compost from Agromin or Engel and Gray.


Each plant’s roots are roughly 1 x 1 x 2.5, and 12-cell seed trays will be provided. There is no limit of plants per customer, however, you may only purchase in quantities of 12. No individual plants will be sold.


All proceeds go to will go directly to support SEEAG’s Programs!

PLANTEL NURSERIES

All our seedlings are being donated by Plantel Nurseries, Inc. in Santa Maria. Plantel is a renowned provider of high-quality vegetable transplants, delivering superior field performance in yield and quality and producing over a billion plants annually. Since its establishment in 1987, they have taken pride in its ability to consistently provide top-quality plants year-round, with an unwavering commitment to customer service. We appreciate Plantel's consistent support of SEEAG and its mission.

AGROMIN 

Agromin is donating potting soil to orders made at the Ventura County location. Agromin manufactures earth-friendly soil products for farmers, landscapers and gardeners. Just as important, Agromin is the organics recycler for over 200 California communities. Each year, Agromin receives over 1 million tons of organic material and then uses a safe, natural and sustainable process to transform the material into premium soil products.


ENGEL & GRAY

 

Engel & Gray is donating compost/soil to orders made at both Santa Barbara County locations. Engel & Gray, Inc. has been serving California and the Central Coast since 1946, providing quality services to industry. The team at Engel & Gray, Inc. provides manpower, equipment, and material to serve the needs of our customer. They are a diversified company with experience and knowledge, forming strategic alliances with customers to accomplish projects on time and under budget.

 

ABOUT SEEAG

Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that not only hosts the annual Ventura and Santa Barbara County Farm Days but also teaches kids about agriculture and the farm origins of their food through farm field trips and in-school presentations year-round.

Item Transfer Policy

If this event allows ticket transfers, you can transfer tickets to someone else by going into your confirmation email > View & Manage Order > Edit Ticket Info / Transfer. 

From there, you can change the name on the ticket & email it to the transferred person.
