Bhajan Bhoy is the musical project of Ajay Saggar. Taking in raga guitar, spaced-out drone, blissed-out electronics and more….its a voyage into cosmic psychedelia.

In October 2023, he undertook a highly successful tour of the USA from Western Mass. to Texas….20 shows in 22 days. Along the way he appeared on WFMU + WGXC respectively, for an interview and a session…..the session tracks will be released on an LP in September 2024 on Feeding Tube Records and Cardinal Fuzz.

He has already been receiving heavy airplay on WFMU and BBC 6 Music and getting great press (MOJO magazine, Uncut, the Wire etc etc) for his latest albums.

Mojo Magazine (March 2023) : “Drawing from a deep well of psychedelia, Bhajan Bhoy further shifts the parameters of the genre with a beautiful and meditative set of tracks”.

Byron Coley / the Wire magazine (January 2024) : “There are so many fine releases by Dutch musician Ajay Saggar. His basic thrust is modern psychedelia, minted from radio snippets, dubby reverb flapping, elegant guitar washing, electronic drones interwoven with flashes of mock jaw harp or sploshy drums, and a generally stoned atmosphere. And the concept is spectrally sound!”
